The design challenge for Shish Wraps was to marry the concepts of traditional ingredients with a modern atmosphere to attract nearby University of Dayton students.
The interiors style could be categorized as “transitional industrial” featuring an exposed structure, concrete flooring and the use of raw materials. Added to this style were warm colors and an open air kitchen and eating area to lend a contemporary feel.
K4 developed the Shish Wraps logo using a flame icon to represent the heat from the grill, which became the focal point of the total branding strategy including marketing collateral, website design, and environmental graphics.
