ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Bellefontaine, Ohio – 8,200 s.f.

Richwood Bank’s goals for the conversion of the former Carnegie Library into a new downtown Bellefontaine branch were to maintain the historic original library building while incorporating the destination brand concept and hybrid banking/retail model. The POD concept and cash recyclers were implemented as well as Richwood Coffee and meeting spaces for social interaction.

The project includes 8,230 s.f. of space on the main banking level, including two pods for four tellers, a Richwood Coffee café area with bar & other customer seating areas, six offices, a teller work area, a cash/ATM/night deposit room, and a safe deposit box room. The facility also has three drive-thru lanes, with the first lane being a drive-up ATM and night depository lane. The interior was transformed to an open, colorful space including Richwood branded finishes, casework, and graphics.

Continuing Richwood Bank’s commitment to serving the needs of the community through their facilities; they have made Richwood Coffee, the open seating areas and the community rooms for customer and public use available during normal banking hours.
