ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Chillicothe, OH – 5,200 s.f.

Rockhold Bank acquired approximately two acres of land on Hospital Road in Chillicothe, OH with prominent visibility to OH State Highway 23. Their intent was to design and build a new branch facility anchored by two retail spaces that could accommodate a future coffee shop or potential medical offices, due to the proximity to the local hospital.

K4 designed the project and the site to create a very marketable corner lot at the corner of Hospital Road and Delano Road and a second lot for Rockhold’s 5,200 SF retail bank branch in the center of a retail facility with two 2,500 SF retail spaces on each side that could potentially be leased to other compatible businesses. The need for an exterior façade that presented Rockhold Bank and the future tenants with prominent visibility to both Hospital Road and Ohio State Highway 23 was of special consideration. Rockhold Banks’s drive thru was oriented on the north side of the building so that it too was very visible to both roads.

It was very important to Rockhold Bank to also incorporate their new brand elements into both the exterior and interior design components and graphics. This was achieved by implementing the blue, black, and gray finishes to the exterior, while balancing out the interior with the same branded colors combined with neutrals, wood finishes and dark trim.

The contemporary interior features teller pods, collaborative open booth seating and waiting area, glass front offices, a geometric ceiling design with pendant light fixtures, and multi-function Conference/Break /Board Room meeting space.
