ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Glendale, OH – 4,748 s.f.

Finding an opportunity to build a new store in the historic village of Glendale, United Dairy Farmers was concerned about fitting their prototype on an unusually narrow property.

K4 reduced the prototype floor plan we had developed down to 4,748 square foot. While the footprint of the store shrunk in size, all desired product offerings in the sales area and storage in the back room were accommodated.

We worked with the village through multiple meetings to ensure all parties were pleased with the final design. The brick color was changed slightly to reflect the historic police department across the street. All other materials used on the exterior and interior remain consistent to the UDF brand that has been established. A unique patio on the west entry side is surrounded about decorative piers and fencing to provide separation from the street.
