North Corbin, KY
L & N Federal Credit Union continues their facility design partnership with K4 with the addition of a new branch in North Corbin KY, ensuring all residents in Corbin access to the credit union facilities and member services. The primary objective was to create a new branch that not only serves as a functional and welcoming space for members, but also exemplifies the credit union's commitment to brand consistency and identity.
The design concept echoes the brand elements implemented from the credit union's other branches and Main Office, aiming to establish a recognizable and cohesive identity throughout the facility network. The design challenge was to incorporate their standard four-teller line design into a six-teller line design while maintaining the efficiency and operations of their smaller facilities.
The branch exterior incorporates the signature architectural features seen in existing branches and the Main Office, using natural materials and a well-defined entrance to welcome members and employees and to reflect L & N’s member-centric approach.
The branch interior offers a warm and inviting atmosphere utilizing L & N’s existing color palette and the use of warm wood tones, black metal accents, and the brand color blue.
By mimicking the design of previous successful projects, the goal was to create an environment that exudes trust, fosters community engagement, and reinforces L & N's position as a trusted financial partner. This new branch will undoubtedly stand as a symbol of the credit union's growth and dedication to enhancing the financial well-being of its members and the local community at large.
