ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Wapakoneta, OH – 2,900 s.f.

At K4 Architecture + Design, we are proud to continue our long-standing partnership with Superior Credit Union, celebrating the opening of their 25th location. This new branch, located across from the Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta, OH, uniquely incorporates Neil Armstrong and space-inspired graphics, reflecting its historic neighbor. The new location is close to I-75, located at 413 Apollo Drive, allowing customers to have easy access for their banking needs.

As the credit union has grown, so have their needs. With over 10,000 members in Auglaize County and continuous new membership, Superior outgrew their downtown location, necessitating this exciting new branch.

The exterior of the branch represents a portion of the new prototype developed for the Cincinnati and Toledo markets while incorporating some of the design element from the Lima market and surrounding branches. The interior features a tellerless operation that emphasizes automation. This innovation allows members to perform many banking tasks independently, while still having access to skilled staff for everyday needs.

Superior Credit Union's commitment to the evolving needs of their members is evident in this modern, automated branch, while still maintaining the personal touch at their original downtown location.

K4 Architecture + Design is honored to support Superior Credit Union in their journey of growth and innovation, continually creating spaces that blend functionality with distinctive design and their unique brand.
