ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Cridersville, OH – 3,400 s.f.

When TopMark Federal Credit Union moved to a new location to better serve its members, it turned to K4 Architecture + Design to create a modern, attractive space that helped facilitate the excellent member service TopMark provides across two East-Central Ohio counties.

The first challenge the K4 team faced was flipping the building’s layout to relocate the credit union’s main entrance to the rear of the building to make entering the branch easier for members. The existing building was set up to have members enter from a busy street. The new layout also eliminated the security concerns of having two entrances. K4 created branded exterior visuals to help identify the building on Cridersville’s main street and reinforce the brand’s place in the community.

Inside, K4 used open pods instead of traditional teller lines to create a warmer, friendlier environment that encourages deeper interaction between members and employees. A history wall displays key milestones in the community’s past, while an award wall gives the credit union an opportunity to promote its achievements.
